What’s the deal with small chops?
Small chops are a selection of mini street food snacks in a pot. There are varieties of small chops from combinations of grilled meats, to fried sweet dumplings called puff and crispy spring rolls, to mini pastries and seafood.
If you are big foodie you are going to love these popular west African small chops. Growing up as a child back home (Nigeria), I have witnessed a lot of ceremonial functions from traditional weddings, birthday parties, street parties they all serve one thing in common which is small chops.
Staying away from home as a school boarder with my fellow school mates, we have gatecrashed a lot of ceremonial functions where we have been served these west African treats. Another story for another day.
This finger food is usually served as an appetizer at parties but these finger foods can be enjoyed every day.
